Resident playwright at Road Less Traveled Productions, Donna’s work has been seen in 46 states and on five continents. Plays include THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR (Princess Grace semi-finalist), SAFE (winner of the Todd McNerney, Naatak, and Great Gay Play and Musical Contests), BRILLIANT WORKS OF ART (2016 Kilroys List), ELEVATOR GIRL (2017 O’Neill finalist), and TEACH (2018 O’Neill semifinalist, current Ashland/Capital Rep/Headwaters semifinalist); she has also been nominated for both the Primus and Blackburn Prizes.

Donna is also a New York Times-published crossword puzzle constructor; author of Neko and the Twiggets, a children’s book; and founder/co-curator of BUA Takes 10: GLBT Short Stories. She has received an Individual Artist Award from the New York State Council on the Arts to develop HEARTS OF STONE, as well as an Artie Award for Outstanding New Play (SEEDS). For three consecutive years, she was named Buffalo’s Best Writer by Artvoice—the only woman to ever receive the designation.

Donna serves on the Dramatists Guild Council and also as Western New York regional representative. In addition, she is a blogger, and moderator of the 11,000+-member Official Playwrights of Facebook. Recent speaking engagements include Citywrights, Kenyon Playwrights Conference, the Dramatists Guild National Conference, Chicago Dramatists, the Austin Film Festival, and a live Dramatists Guild webinar. Bryn Boice is a Boston-based freelance director and actor, and is the artistic director of the fringe ensemble Anthem Theatre Company, now a Resident Performing Arts Company at Boston Center for the Arts (BCA). Recent work with Anthem includes: her devised election protest play, I, Snowflake; Twelfth Night of the Living Dead; Romeo VS. Juliet; The Comedy of Errors (adapted for four); and her original Irish play with song, The Merry Way. Other Boston directing credits include the lauded all-female production of Julius Caesar for Actors’ Shakespeare Project; Henry IV part 2 for Commonwealth Shakespeare Company; and Red Velvet by Lolita Chakrabarti (playing May/June 2018 at the BCA in Boston). New York credits as actor and/or director include work with Asolo Repertory Company, Boston Playwrights’ Theater, Theatre Row, Rebellious Subjects, Monomoy Theatre, Caroline’s on Broadway, Manhattan Theatre Club, and three shows with InProximity Theatre Company, Orange Flower Water (director), Navy Pier (director), and Sight Unseen (Grete). Bryn holds an MFA in Directing from Boston University and an MFA in Acting from the Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training (FSU). She is a Lecturer at Salem State University in Voice for the Actor, Directing, and Dramatic Criticism, among others.

Synopsis

Elevator Girl was never meant to be more than an urban legend, a sexual revenge fantasy created by Vanessa and her graphic illustrator boyfriend. But when the comic superhero unleashes her boyfriend’s darkest fantasies, as well as a flesh-and-blood copycat, Vanessa must stop EG in her tracks—with the truth.

Harrison Bryan is an actor, playwright, producer, clown, and puppeteer, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Zachary Clark is an actor and teaching artist living in NYC. Zach has performed regionally and in NYC in a variety of productions most recently Macbeth at Classic Stage Company as well as Promisingat Theatre Row and Petie at Urban Stages. Zach’s performance as Edmund in King Lear was nominated for an Innovative Theatre Award in 2017. For the rest of the summer, Zach will be up in Cape Cod working on a production of Blithe Spirit with Elements Theatre Company. As a Teaching Artist, Zach has worked with Stages on the Sound for 4 years, and also works at Stella Adler with their teen program. TV: Boardwalk Empire, Limitless. Zach is a graduate of Columbia University.
